How to set up and program your Frame Wave card in minutes

July 8, 2026 3 min read
A small team gathered around laptops in a modern office, setting up their digital tools together.

Your Frame Wave arrives ready to use. There is no app to install and no account to create. Here is the fastest path from box to first tap, plus how to keep control of the destination later.

Before your card arrives

Decide where you want your card to send people. This is the link that opens the second someone taps. A few good options:

  • A personal landing page with your links and contact info.
  • Your LinkedIn or Instagram profile.
  • A booking page such as Cal.com or Calendly.
  • A portfolio, resume, or brand site.

Send us that link during checkout personalization. We program the chip and print the card together, then ship the finished product.

Your first tap

  1. 1Unlock the phone and hold it awake, screen on.
  2. 2Touch the top of the phone to the Frame Wave card, back to front.
  3. 3A small notification appears. Tap it to open the link.

If the person is on an older Android and NFC does not fire, the printed QR on the card handles it. Point the camera and tap the link.

Updating your link later

Your info will change. New role, new page, new campaign. The link is encoded when the product is made. To change where it points later, use a Linktree or Link.me address as your link, then update the destination in that account. The product in your pocket keeps working and simply lands people on the new page.

The rule of thumb: change the link, not the card.

Ready when you are
